Caught speeding, what are the fines ?

Hi all, I have a friend who thinks he was caught by a speedvan tonight. He was on a 100km and he thinks he was doing 130-140km as he was going to collect his mother who was alone in a rough part of town. I can't find much online about this only that there is a €160 fine and 3 penalty points on RSA. But an article is showing an automatic court appearance and 7 penalty points? Does anyone know ??
