Is embryo sex selection unethical?

Do you think it’s unethical to choose the sex of your child if you are conceiving through IVF? Let’s say hypothetically my thought process is “society is set up in a way that benefits men, so being a male is an advantage for my child, so I should choose for my child to be male.” Is there anything wrong with thinking that way?
