why is our communication so awkward?

this is a new relationship i’m in! it’s been about three months. we’re always texting or calling on the phone since we’re long distance. there’s a TON of communication in this relationship. the problem is that whenever we try to actually hold a conversation with one another, i feel like i don’t know what to say. conversations dry up quickly and we sit in comfortable silence. does anyone know why it’s hard for us to hold a conversation based on our synastry?
