Mother in law

Hi I’m Turkish woman(31) and my husband is Australian (28). We lived in Turkey for 3 years and got married there. My husband got homesick and we moved in Australia last year. Mother in law was keep asking when we will have a baby etc. she has been waiting for a long time and my husband older brother and his wife don’t want to have any kids. So my mother in law was making pressure a bit anyway. I got pregnant 3 months ago and all of the sudden she said that I will need my mother in Australia. I really don’t understand the culture she was asking for a grand kid and I’m pregnant she says I’ll need my mother. I’m coming from other country and everything is so different. I just wanna understand that is this an Australian culture or is just my mother in law ? I’m really upset with my husband’s family.
