Honda not starting

Hello!

I’ve got a 2004 Honda CRV that isn’t starting. I’ve got a friend who’s trying to help me get it started again but the process is slow. We got a new battery for it and when I turn the key in the ignition there it a a single click. Should I buy a better battery? Or is this a sign of a faulty starter? Any advice would be so helpful. Thank you
