What makes conservatives so angry at the idea of white privilege existing and DEI in general?
I feel like on conservative subreddits, I've seen a half decent explanation as to why conservatives don't believe in white privelege. While I disagree, it's a coherent thought.
But it seems like conservatives go a lot further than simple disagreement. The very idea white privilege exists makes conservatives angry. This is apparent anytime Ben Shapiro or Charlie Kirk are asked about it. This is also apparent on conservative subreddits like r/conservative where it's implied that any person who believes in white privelege is evil.
Likewise, we see conservatives having strong reactions to DEI. Any program with DEI is "woke" and "evil." And they seem to tell us that DEI is some sort of evil agenda but never tell us what said agenda is.
So why do conservatives act and react so strongly to the very mention of these things?
