Are there contradictions in the Bible?

Ive been told these 3 things every time contradictions are mentioned.

There are no contradictions in the Bible.

There are only contradictions if you take verses out of context.

There are contradictions, but they are because of translation errors.

Which one - if any - of these is true? And can you provide examples of these contradictions please? Also, how should I respond when people bring up contradictions in the future?
