Worth moving to Asia for career?

I’m currently in an extremely competitive grad program that will open a ton of doors in the US and will probably guarantee that I do “very well” here. However, I’m not okay with being in a place where I will always face racism (and will always have to “prove myself” more compared to some white dude), so long-term I am hoping to move to Asia once I have more experience here.

Has anyone done this before, and if you don’t mind which industry were/are you in? Did you feel like it was the right move and did you feel like you didn’t have to always “go the extra mile” to get the same treatment as white colleagues?

Ultimately, I’m interested in an entrepreneurial career, but hope to stay involved in my industry, if that helps.
