Wondering if I’m in the wrong here
My condo building has a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers. 34 1 bedroom units but at least some of them have in-unit w/d. I usually do my laundry early on Saturday mornings but another morning person must’ve moved in, because the past 2 Saturday mornings it’s been in use. No worries, I checked a couple of times throughout Saturday and Sunday, but it was always being used. So at this point I have not done laundry in 3 weeks+ and I am going out of town this weekend. I don’t want to monopolize the washers at a busy time, so I took a half day of personal time, came home at noon and started doing my laundry. I put my first loads in, switched over to my second set of 2 loads, and put my third (and last) 2 loads on top of the washers. Came down to check if the 2nd loads were done and I see this note. I know for a fact that I started my first loads between 12:10 and 12:20, and this note was written between 1:30 and 1:40. That just seems really fast to write such a passive aggressive note, implying that I’ve been monopolizing the washers for hours and hours. I could see someone getting annoyed that I put my laundry on top of the washers to “claim” them, but that seems common in this complex so I’ve started doing it that way. I haven’t lived in any other apartment complexes so not really sure what the etiquette is. My last 2 loads were out of the washers by 2:55.
