Repotting?

I just got this a little before Christmas as a gift from my mom. She bought it online. It’s acclimated & now I think it’s time for a repot?

This soil here is rock hard & dense. Holy crap never saw this before. Do I just leave it alone (not disturb the roots) or should I try to get some of that dirt off?

I’m using my aroid mix & a slightly larger pot. I’m really new to tropicals. I live in Florida, sits under a grow Sansi light with ambient humidity. 50-70% Any advice is welcome. ☺️
