I can't never get rid of my starting villagers

4 years ago I got ACNH And since the first day until this day my two starting villagers stayed on my island and I can never let them go. I see a lot of people getting rid of their starting villagers but I never see people keeping them. Which keept me wondering if it's even a common thing among other players?

Love to know if I'm not the only one and who's your starting starting villagers mine are Rocket and Antonio 😋
