Questions about S1 Murder House

New to the sub - been re-watching after years have gone by since ny first viewing. I don't know everything, so don't jump down my throat, please...also I'm halfway through the season, but I would love some hardcore fan lore.

  1. Why is the maid the only person to be perceived as two different ages? I get it to do with how men sexualise her, but why is she the only one to have this ability. I've read somewhere that she has an older soul? So am I to believe that every single soul that's there is exactly at the age their soul portrays aside from her?

  2. The ghosts can essentially act as solid humans within the house and nearby grounds. they can talk touch do whatever they want physically with everything around them. And if they die on the property or more specifically their body is there and that's what keeps them there Why can't they remove their own body on Halloween when they can move freely around the earth then be free?

  3. Speaking of Halloween, why did all the spirits walk back to the house together? Hayden basically proved that no matter how far you get away from the house on Halloween night, by the morning, you're warped back to the house. If the spirits get one night a year free, would they not spend every last second away until the house pulls them back anyway? It just feels like they're wasting time walking back for the sake of exposition and showing interaction between the ghosts.

  4. Why do the ghosts only show up chronologically when it's convenient for the plot and progression of the episodes? There's nothing to say when they can and can't show up or not?

  5. Why was Violet able to tell the spirits to go away when she was a spirit herself? Surely, as equals to the spirits, she'd have less merit to control them as opposed to when she was a physically alive owner of the house? What if the other spirits tell her to go away first? Or do they become blind to each other for a while

  6. The murder house isn't special at all if the kids that Tate killed are also able to roam around. I get that it's because of Halloween, but I thought it was SPECIALLY to do with this one particular house that brings back ghosts into the physical realm.

  7. Why didn't the most recent owners continue to live as stay at home people after death? Think about it they can do everything but leave the house, right? Work from home, order everything to the house, every couple of decades just change your identity, and you wouldn't have to deal with more people moving in?

EDIT: Wow, you ask a fandom a question and literally get downvoted with no answers...
