Would you remove the coffee table (functionality) in favour of a chaise sofa (comfort)?

While I love my living room, the sofa is not the comfiest with my main complaint being inability to put my feet up and lounge.

My partner and I are considering a small chaise sofa. The chaise would need to be on the left hand side due to the fireplace and this would also mean removing the large coffee table.

Our living room is so tiny so options are really limited. Hoping a chaise would also allow for additional seating (not much but it is something).

I would clear the walkway of stuff and also promise the Christmas decorations are down- I’m apparently too lazy to get updated photos.
