AIO my boyfriend punched a hole in our wall

I(M23) have been with my boyfriend(28) for 4 years now, he’s been amazing and I love him.

The other day I had just got back from work and I entered our house and he was ballistic, yelling on the phone and all sorts of loud shit. Immediately in like “wtf is happening?” And trying to find out what pissed him off, mind you, I noticed his car wasn’t in the driveway, this’ll be relevant later.

He was going in about how he had gotten rammed Into by another car and how it fucked up his car and Insurance wouldn’t cover a good chunk of the damages, normal something to be pissed about.

I’m talking to him trying to calm him down a bit because I didn’t mind lending him money or hell, my car if he needed it. He started yelling at me about how he didn’t want to be a “leech” getting in my face(he didn’t raise a hand dw). What blew me was this man put a big ass hole in our wall, fist to wall, big ass hole.

I ain’t never seen him that mad before, sure he’s been pissed(who hasn’t) but he actually put a hole in our wall and it’s low key scaring me. I don’t wanna think we’d get physical but I’m wondering if maybe I should stick it out or AIO? Should I be worried? My mom says that it’s “normal” to be mad but ..mmm idk.
