So this girl [35F] and I [26M] started talking 3 days ago after she randomly messaged me saying that her friend gave her a number (mine), which was supposed to be a Paris tour guide's or something. I didn't think much of it (I'm French) and politely told her she had the wrong number, but I guess she appreciated that because she introduced herself and wanted to get to know each other, and I indulged her because hey why not. After a bit she told me she was single and asked me if I was so I assumed she was interested in me (I have a photo of me on my Whatsapp) and thought she was pretty cute so I kept it going.

The next day she immediately texted me good morning, which I thought was starting off a bit strong but I guess some people are like that idk. Bantered some more, and she brought up that she was running a jewelry store along with crypto investments as a side income for when sales are low -- apparently jewelry stores are seasonal businesses too with Christmas and Valentine's, the more you know. I should specify that I'm not a cryptobro, my understanding of it is basically limited to knowing they're volatile currencies and that investing in them is basically gambling. So at this point I already had a lot of alarm bells ringing in my head, but I was curious about how she was able to make a stable side income out of it so I kept the conversation going and it went well. Still, I found the interaction pretty weird so I reverse searched her pictures to see if she was a bot or something, but nothing came up. I also looked up what kinda cryptocurrency USDT was and apparently it's relatively stable? I didn't really know what to think of it so I left it at that.

Which brings us to the text messages above. This is my entire conversation with her from yesterday. Started out harmlessly enough, but then she brought up her crypto earnings again. I don't really blame her since I showed interest in it the day before, but the way she was so insistent in making me try it out afterwards was a huge turn off, even after trying to tell her off politely multiple times. I subscribe to the notion that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is, so I really did my best to let her know politely that I didn't feel comfortable trusting the guidance of someone I'd known for 2 days at that point with how to use my money.

And then today she called me "dear" in her morning message... Look, I'm autistic so I'm not the best at telling what's normal progression and behavior or not and navigating these kinds of situations, but I asked my best friend about it and he agreed that the whole deal was extremely weird. And I know this isn't really the best place to ask about crypto, but I'm afraid a subreddit dedicated to it might be too biased in their favor, so if anyone has more information about USDT I'd appreciate it as well. So tell me guys, do you think she's just super awkward in her way of showing interest in me?? Or is my gut feeling telling me that she's being very fishy with me justified?
