Need Guidance to plan a round trip from Varanasi to Kumbh for a holy dip.

I am a solo traveler planning my trip to Varanasi for 3 days around Feb 20 -24 from south India. During that trip, I want to come and visit Kumbh for one day and take a holy dip in the river. What are the options to travel from Varanasi to Kumbh, take holy dip and get back to Varanasi in one day? I am not in favor of public transportation as I see that they are being stopped too far outside the city. This is my first time visit to Allahabad. Any vehicles allowed near sangam during those days?
