Well played, BBTS, well played
Hello.
First time I bought something from BBTS it was the pre-order for the Cyclops figure in the picture. While making the purchase I was offered to leave it in my "pile of loot" once it arrives. I thought the concept was interesting and chose it. Then, I bought three other figures and left them in the pile of loot, so that they would be shipped along with Cyclops once he arrives.
89 days later, the pre-order has been delayed a couple of times so I must ship those three figures. Couple of weeks after that, Cyclops arrives and is left in my pile of loot. But shortly after that, BvS Nightmare Batman is up for pre-order, so I buy him and choose "send to my pile of loot". So, it will have arrived before Cyclops' 90 days are over, right? ...right?
And of course, to make the shipping worthwhile, I buy another figure (whoch is on sale) and some trading cards, because that is what an adult with self-control does (/s). However, today Cyclops's 90 days are almost over and Batman hasn't arrived.
I know that in my infinite wisdom, I'll end up ordering something else after I ship my current lot (to make Batman's shipping worthwhile) and the cycle will continue forever.
Congratulations, BBTS! The pile of loot is a very convenient feature for your costumers, but it also exploits our addiction 😆
Am I the only one who falls for this?
PD. This is not a rant against BBTS. This is all tongue in cheek. I'm fully aware of what I'm doing but I just can't stop.
