10+ Years Post Accutane - Severe Dry Mouth
(In this thread I won't discuss any other permanent effects I've endured from taking multiple courses of accutane, though they exist in addition to what is written below.)
Anyone know anything about the existance, accessibility, or effectiveness of treatments for debilitating permanent severe dry mouth as a result of past accutane use leading to potential salivary gland damage?
Besides eating citrus, sucking on candy and other aimless at home treatments which have no effect on overnight dryness since you can't do them while sleeping ( with some exceptions) , the only treatments I've heard about are related to gene therapy. I'm not sure if that is still just in development and won't be accessible for another few decades.
P.S. accutane did nothing to fix my acne in the short or long term. Diet and probiotics did that.
