Getting Fired One Month In
I joined a B4 starting in January and moved across my state to be with the company on salary with no moving bonuses. Wasn’t looking for so much of the money but the experience. I went through trainings in person for audit and passed both assessments that the firm requires new associates to take before starting on client work, except that I had reached out to a co-work which I had thought I could trust, and he reported me, and essentially I got fired a week later. I passed all assessments on my own including the one that I had reached out for help just a few minutes after. I understand that all content in the assessments are to be kept confidential and that we were not supposed to ask for help, but I had so many other trainings to get done and I had already taken the test 20X.
Long story short, I am furious because I thought I could trust this person nonetheless, spent over 10k on moving and signing an apartment lease to be with the company. This person did not respond back to my iMessage and straight up reported me sending the text to HR.
Should I reach out to the person that reported me and let them know that because of them I got fired after we had a heart felt conversation of how we were both doing it big as minorities and also making a bold move for moving away from our families just to be with the firm?
