Lost Island vs Paid DLCs

I own the main game and Scorched Earth. I have been considering buying the other DLCs since everything is on sale right now, but I'm wondering how worth it the DLCs are now that Lost Island is out, with seemingly every creature. I know only a little about the other maps (like that Genesis has missions) and would like to know if the maps, etc. add a lot more content that is worth the cost.

I can get Aberration and Extinction for about $10, Genesis for about $24, and all the DLCs for about $33 on Steam. Obviously, the amount of money is subjective...I include the costs just for the ability to see relative value (in other words, Genesis is almost 2.5 times as much as the Aberration and Extinction).
