Should I get ASA or stick with ASE?

I have had ark survival evolved for years now and it’s always been a little laggy but not too bad. Now it’s really laggy but I’ve been able to make it a little better by dumbing down the graphics etc. I played ASA for a a second with cloud gaming on Xbox and it was ok ig I just didn’t like it cuz ASE is one of my childhood games. But lately I’ve been thinking about getting the new one with my Christmas money on my ps5. Is it worth it or no?
