someone just found 2 works posted nearly a year apart, completely different styles and themes, both on anonymous in a MASSIVE fandom and correctly guessed they were both by the same author (me)
I’ve not even replied to the comment cause I’m more stunned than anything
Like I’m not ashamed of either of these works. 1 is a character study of child abuse that’s more of a fluff/angst, leaning towards comedy type with a happy ending and a bunch of supernatural themes. More literacy related, it’s in the past tense with a very limited narrative voice, limited metaphors and similes and short, emotion based sentence.
On the other hand, the other is far shorter, pure angst and whump with dark themes and violence and a very unhappy ending. The style and even the way it’s laid out is completely different. The characters, despite being the same, are pretty significantly different. The sentenced are longer, more complex and rely heavily on action rather than emotion, and lean heavily on the voice of the main character as the narrative voice. This one was uploaded 10 months after the last one.
I need to know what CIA, MI6 level agents I have in my comment sections to be able to connect the two of these works 💀💀 I’m not even upset, this is incredible to me. I had no clue I had a narrative voice in the slightest and especially the second work was a massive experiment in developing a different narrative voice, like far closer to that of the character and far darker.
Genuinely incredible :,,,,)
