Surprise! I don't agree with Dave Meltzer!

I'm a massive AEW fan, but that doesn't mean I have to like everything about AEW.

I did not watch a second of the Jericho/Ishii match that took place on AEW Dynamite. I respect Jericho and I absolutely respect Ishii, but there was no reason to have this match . . . eh . . . eh . . . ever!

My opinion has nothing to do with this being an ROH match. I totally get AEW wanting to promote ROH (especially if the rumors are true about the discussions for an ROH TV deal). However, if Tony Khan wants to promote ROH, thr only choice to promote the product is Athena. Period.

Look, Ishii was 0-11 in singles matches in AEW headed into this match. I mean, come on TK, couldn't you let Ishii beat up Jon Cruz so that he has at least one freaking win before being given a title shot?

So, yeah, I don't care if this match had taken place last year . . . it was a throw-away match. AEW fans are smart enough to realize this.
