i just took about a 7-ish day break from this subreddit (and the private /tttt/ subs) and honestly i haven’t felt this bad in a while. this place genuinely helps me and everyone here is wonderful and i love you all so much. i thought i’d try taking a break but yeah not having people who relate to your situation can be really isolating. i feel so alone without y’all, other trans spaces just don’t have the same „raw” sort of vibe this sub does. i hadn’t had a real breakdown in MONTHS but yesterday i was feeling so hopeless, i guess i just need constant reminders that being trans isn’t the end of the world even tho it really feels like it right now. most of the people here understand me more than my closest friends and family members. cis people really just don’t get it, and they never will. everyone here is so important to me. you all make me feel so much better about myself, like whenever i get a nice comment or have a silly interaction or whatever, it makes my entire day. when i don’t have people who understand/support me in my life, i feel very bad (obviously). so i am returning for good. i really missed you guys! please fill me in on any events that happened within the past week that you think i should know about if there are any. thank you 🙏 <3
