Retroarch crashing when looking through files

I'm posting this both in this sub and on r/RetroArch, so I apologise if this is the wrong sub to be post this, but just for the sake of getting the most help possible I'll still post it here.

Everytime I try to find a rom to play in retroarch the app crashes with this message, I tried searching fixes for it but I couldn't find anything, anyone knows how to fix it?
