Flashforge inventor sell, use or salvage?
I recently got a good deal on a flashforge Inventor I. It was $100 AUD (about $65 USD) because it had a nozzle that wouldn't print. I fixed the nozzle in a couple hours as it was a bad filament clog. Then I tried printing with PLA supports and ABS body but the nozzles aren't at the same height and when trying to adjust the height of the left one I ripped off one of the thermistor wires on accident. The right one still prints fine. It's also quite noisy and I hate the beeping it does when it does anything. Like when you turn it on or finish a print. Its so loud. I heard they're like 1400 aud (like 900 USD) new or smth like that but theyre Discontinued. Should I clean up the printer and replace the broken thermistor or heat block and get it working then try and sell it? If so how much should I sell it for? Or should I try and fix it then just use it? Or should I salvage it as I've been thinking about making my own custom 'dream' 3d printer.
