Journey in 3d. Where are you?

Fellow artists, how's your journey going so far in 3d and where do you find yourself in the curve?

I am free falling from the peak 'I know stuff' stage. I am the imposter.

What are struggling with now?

I will start with mine. I am super confused at color management. I used unreal, blender and davinci. I am still trying to understand the concept of color transforms and integrating different packages. Well there is aces. Yes. But I am blindly following tutorial after tutorial. I am yet to grasp the core idea.

Another one is about using a color neutral environment for lookdev. How do we define a color neutral environment?

All lookdev environment uses some kind of luts. It feels like optimising stuff visually rather than using scientific approaches.
