Is it true sunflower oil can lighten dark underarms and dark spots? Can you share your experience?

One of my major concern is really having dark underarms and dark circle under the eyes. I think it's genetics and I got it from my mom's side. It has been my problem eversince😫 Ive tried diff brand of creams esp when I was in highschool since they always notice it despite being young. I sometimes just stop using the cream fr when I feel like im not getting any positive results after using it consistently. Im just tired trying everything,, but have you heard effective results from sunflower oil?
