at home ipl ?

hello beauties, i'm asking for any feedback or experience with at-home ipl hair removal machine thingies. should i get one? i have thick dark hair and fair skin so ipl works for me at the medspa but doesn't last more than 6 months so i'm wondering if it would make sense for me to invest in one of these bad boys instead. thanks!
