Warming up with a lighter racquet making a huge difference??

Hi, so I thought I'd try warming up with a lighter racquet for the first 10 minutes and then switch to the heavier, match racquet. Later on into the match, I felt a huge difference in my groundstrokes, I felt like the best I have ever felt that i could remember. My control on my groundstrokes felt much higher, my confidence was a lot higher too. I only tried it recently and want to try it next time I go. Has anyone else noticed a huge difference when they did this? I'm still shocked because that was the only thing I changed, just warming up with a lighter racquet and then transitioning to the heavier racquet. Felt like I could give even Roger Federer a hard time that day for the groundstrokes anyway.

Edit - I did this today and played absolutely terribly. I have no idea why i played that good that day and then really bad today. I'm confusedd.
